April 9, 2018 By Minnesota News Network

The University of Minnesota Duluth will hold a celebration event for the recently-minted NCAA men’s ice hockey champion Bulldogs on Tuesday (April 10) at AMSOIL Arena.

The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 6 p.m. (doors open one hour earlier) and will include a recognition ceremony followed by a team autograph session. Both the 2018 and 2011 national championship trophies will also be on display for photo opportunities and as will information on NCAA championship gear and 2018-19 UMD season tickets.

The Bulldog claimed their second NCAA title Saturday night with a 2-1 victory over the University of Notre Dame at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center.
