The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated outfielder Byron Buxton from the 10-day Injured List and activated him as the 27th man for the MLB at Field of Dreams game tonight in Dyersville, Iowa against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Buxton, who was placed on the Injured List on July 29 with right hip impingement, has hit .263 (87-for-331) with 16 doubles, one triple, 25 home runs, 45 RBI, 57 runs scored, seven stolen bases, a .320 on-base percentage, a .544 slugging percentage and an .864 OPS in 82 games this season.
