(Minneapolis, MN)  —  Byron Buxton’s three run shot gave the Twins their first lead of the game and they never looked back in a 6-2 win over the Rangers.  Texas took a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the third when Buxton’s 11th home run of the season found the bleachers in center field to give the Twins the lead.  The blast was measured at 479 feet.  Willi Castro hit a two R-B-I triple in the fifth  to help the cause followed by a Carlos Correa ground rule double to drive home Castro.  David Festa earned the win giving up three hits and two runs over six innings of work while striking out four.  The series concludes this afternoon at 12:10 P-M with Bailey Ober facing Patrick Corbin at Target Field.
