The Cambridge City Council Monday night accepted the resignation of Police Chief Tim Dwyer due to allegations of misconduct, but details are not being released yet. City Commissioner Lynda Woulfe says, “As soon as we get the public data separated from the private data, then we will be releasing it to everyone — hopefully within the next ten days, but we hope to get it done as soon as we possibly can.” As part of the agreement Cambridge officials agreed to “cease all inside and outside queries and investigations” into complaints or allegations against ex-Chief Dwyer.
