Carver Co officials seek public’s help in finding missing boy who may be with non-custodial father

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 13-year-old boy. Jenup Chop left his current residence in Carver at around 3 am this morning in an Uber. The boy was dropped off at Highway 60 and Interstate 35, where it is believed he met up with his non-custodial father Stephen. They may be traveling in a silver 2006 Nissan Altima with Minnesota plate 374 J-Z-Y and could be in the Austin area or possibly Owatonna. Anyone with information is urged to call 9-1-1.
