The Carver County Sheriff’s Office received a call in 2011 from a woman in Germany claiming to be concerned about Prince’s “cocaine habits.” That was just one of many “calls for service” included in a report from the sheriff’s office released today. The woman made the call on June 20th, 2011 and said that Prince “advised her (a year prior) in Germany the he cannot control his habit and she was advised to report it.” Officials responded that since the information was a year old, and since the woman did not specify that Prince was in immediate danger, no further action would be taken. Another call for service include a report from a woman claiming in January 2015 that she needed to get a message to Prince that their “mutual son” was having open heart surgery. Officials informed the woman they would “not be conducting any kind of 3rd party messaging for her and Prince.” Prince was found dead at his Paisley Park home on April 21st. He was 57 years old. The cause of death has not yet been released.
