A North Dakota Sheriff accused of being in a confrontation at a bar in Dilworth, Minnesota has reached a plea agreement. Sargent County Sheriff Travis Paeper was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Clay County Attorney Brian Melton says he’s agreed to withhold the charge for one year if Paeper has no other offenses and pays 150-dollars in court fees. A police report says three women asked Paeper to leave their table at the Red Hen Taphouse after he said something that offended them. Paeper told police one of the women hit him several times on the face. Police also said Paeper was “very uncooperative” when they arrived at the bar and tries to reprimand a Dilworth Police officer.
