(Minneapolis, MN) — Kody Clemens blasted a walk-off grand slam to give the Twins a 4-3 win over the Royals.
All three men reached base with two outs before the stunning homer. Minnesota claimed the three-game series and has won six-of-eight, overall.
The Royals jumped out with two runs in the third and added an unearned run in the fifth. The Twins were held without a hit until the seventh and went into the final at bat with just one hit. The Twins sit three games back in the A-L Central and a game out of the Wild Card.
Minnesota heads to Seattle to start a weekend series tonight against the Mariners. First pitch is set for 9:10 P.M.
