Democratic presidential frontrunners Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders continue their quest for delegates at the D-F-L’s annual Humphrey-Mondale Dinner tonight in Saint Paul. Carleton College analyst Steven Schier expects Sanders will make Minnesota a focus between now and the March 1st caucuses. Schier says it’s one of Sanders’ top opportunities to win delegates and win a state on Super Tuesday. He predicts Clinton on the other hand will focus on states with primaries and those with large numbers of Latinos and African-Americans. “She may come back to Minnesota, but I don’t think it’ll be a priority for her,” says Schier.
