(Minneapolis, MN) — The Golden Gophers are headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in five seasons. Minnesota earned the fifth-seed in the South Region and opens play against 12th-seeded Middle Tennessee on Thursday in Milwaukee. The Gophers are 24-and-9 on the year, while the Blue Raiders are 30-and-4. Minnesota will fly to Milwaukee late this afternoon.
