Deplorable behavior, but no new significant evidence that would enable prosecutors to bring charges — says Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman after his office completed a review of the U-of-M’s investigation into sexual assault allegations against 10 suspended Gophers football players. Freeman says the university’s investigation included a handful of new interviews but the information elicited was not significantly different from that presented to his office. Freeman says his decision *not* to bring charges remains unchanged and he’s not commenting further because the university’s process is still under way.
