A follow-up on the shooting of a Meeker County official during hunting season is complete. The Wright County attorney was brought in to review the November 8th incident where Meeker County Commissioner Dale Fenrich was airlifted after being shot in the leg. The investigation shows the bullet was meant for a deer but a ricochet caused it to strike Fenrich. The 58-year old has since recovered from the accident and no criminal charges will be filed.
