A man who was injured when someone fired shots on the rooftop restaurant of a downtown Minneapolis bar now faces charges himself for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and has a court appearance today. Investigators say about a month before 28-year-old Demilo Martin was shot early the morning of July 13th, he was involved in a shootout between rival street gangs in northeast Minneapolis. Surveillance video shows Martin entering a building with a semi-automatic pistol. Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman says if prosecution is successful, Martin should be sentenced to a mandatory five years in prison.
