The Wall Street Journal reports former Minnesota Timberwolf Christian Laettner is being sued by several creditors who allege he owes them 14 million dollars. Laettner’s lawyer tells the paper the petition for involuntary bankruptcy is related to a real estate development in downtown Durham, North Carolina that dwindled during the recession and adds that Laettner plans to negotiate a deal with his creditors. The Timberwolves drafted Laettner in 1992 and he was with the team four years.
