Upwards of 200 workers are converting T-C-F Bank Stadium from a football field into an outdoor ice hockey rink, in time for the N-H-L Stadium Series featuring the Minnesota Wild versus the Chicago Blackhawks on February 21st. The N-H-L’s Dan Craig says creating the best outdoor ice-sheet possible is a 24-hour endeavor from now until the event is over. More than 20-thousand gallons of water will be used for the ice at the on-campus football stadium. Over 50-thousand hockey fans are expected to attend the game.
