Texas Sen. Ted Cruz
(St. Paul, MN) — Texas Senator and Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz has a rally scheduled next Thursday night in Saint Paul as part of a swing through states holding caucuses or primaries next March 1st on “Super Tuesday.” Cruz took nearly 32 percent of the vote in a presidential preference poll at the state Republican Party’s central committee meeting last weekend, with Donald Trump garnering only 10 percent. Cruz’s visit will come two days after Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton unveils her counter-terrorism initiative during a stop in Minneapolis on Tuesday.
