Dayton continues with “87 Counties in 86” Days tour

August 9, 2016 By Scott Peterson

Dayton 1-8-16

Governor Dayton continues his “87 Counties in 86 Days” tour with stops planned today in Kittson, Marshall and Roseau Counties.

Dayton says he’s traveling the state “to get in touch with Minnesota. I learned so much back in 2010 when I did this–it’s just a great way to get out from the umbrella of the Capitol and see and hear first-hand from the people what their concerns are.” Dayton says water quality is one of his top priorities moving forward.

He has stops planned later this week in Lake of the Woods, Koochiching, St. Louis and Itasca Counties.
