Governor Mark Dayton met with a dozen chiefs of police and other law enforcement leaders from around Minnesota today (Fri) about how to improve police practices in the wake of the Philando Castile shooting. Saint Cloud Police Chief Blair Anderson says, “The governor did not bring up any specific problem areas…. He listened and he took great notes, and we shared with him what we think we can do better and we shared with him what we are doing now that we think works.” Governor Dayton says he continues getting input from different stakeholders as leaders grapple with how to move forward.
