Governor Mark Dayton is again telling top Republican lawmakers, before the state picks up the cost of care for the most seriously-ill Minnesotans, he wants assurances from H-M-Os that they won’t pull out of the health insurrance market, and that premium increases will be held down. The governor says, “I haven’t received a response from any of the health plans to whom I’ve sent the letter last week. I’m not gonna sign a bill until I’ve received those responses from each of ’em.” But Dayton won’t say what specific conditions H-M-Os would have to meet before he would sign a “re-insurance” bill the Republican-controlled legislature is considering.
