The Drug Enforcement Administration is announcing an expansion into northern Minnesota later this morning in Duluth (Wednesday 11 A-M). D-E-A Omaha Division Special Agent-in-Charge Richard Salter, Junior plans to talk about the growing needs of the agency to combat opioids, methamphetamine, and other illegal drugs in the state. Duluth Mayor Emily Larson and Police Chief Mike Tusken will also speak at the news conference. No word yet on where the D-E-A’s Duluth office will be located.
