There will be no decision this year on whether a Minneapolis police officer will be charged in the shooting death of Justine Damond. Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman says “additional investigation must be completed” and “review of the case will not be rushed.” Earlier Freeman said he’d make a charging decision before year’s end. Officer Mohamed Noor shot Damond July 15th when she approached the squad car after reporting a possible sexual assault outside her south Minneapolis home.
