Democrats are blasting state Senate Republicans’ renewed push to require voters to show photo I-D at the polls. D-F-L Party Chairman Ken Martin says Minnesota did hand recounts of over three million ballots in the 2008 and 2010 elections, “and in neither instance of those recounts was there massive voter fraud found. It’s just a complete and utter misinformation.”
Senate Republican Majority Leader Paul Gazelka promises a hard push for a voter photo I-D requirement. He says with all the things that have been happening, people want to know elections are secure.
