Dems warn U-S Supreme Court with Trump pick will overturn Roe -v- Wade, gut Obamacare

July 10, 2018 By Bill Werner

Democrats warn a U-S Supreme Court with President Trump’s nominee Brett Kavanaugh will overturn Roe -v- Wade, gut Obamacare and roll back civil rights. Minnesota D-F-L Party Chairman Ken Martin says, “Donald Trump said very clearly that one of the deciding factors for him is going to be both a judge who is pro-life and then also a judge who would vote to get rid of the Affordable Care Act.”

Republican Party of Minnesota Chair Jennifer Carnahan says such talk is just “trying to rile up and incite discord and divide, and assume things that may or may not even happen. Frankly, the Democrats do this every time.”  Carnahan says Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith need to remember they represent all Minnesotans, examine Judge Kavanaugh’s record and experience, and do what’s in the best interest of the country.
