Minnesota Democrats kick off their “Get out the Vote” bus tour this morning at the State Capitol, then head to Mankato, Rochester and Winona later today, plus two dozen more events across Minnesota before the election. D-F-L candidate for governor Tim Walz says, “People want to see a state that works. Our ‘One Minnesota’ message is resonating.”
Republican rival Jeff Johnson says beginning last Saturday they already visited two dozen communities, and will head back out this afternoon. “We’re hitting I believe 40 cities before we close it out next Tuesday,” Johnson says. “It is all retail politics at this point and getting out in front of people face-to-face.”
