Will Bernie Sanders Democrats in Minnesota unite behind presumptive presidential nominee Hillary Clinton? That’s the question as the D-F-L Party holds its state convention today at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. Governor Mark Dayton says he’ll stress unity. “When our party is united, we win elections,” says Dayton. “When we’re divided, we often lose elections, and we cannot afford to be divided this year.” There were fireworks over Donald Trump at Republicans’ state convention a couple weeks ago. Minnesota D-F-L leaders are reportedly trying to damp-down any disunity within their party. Sanders took 62 percent to Clinton’s 38 percent in Minnesota’s precinct caucuses on March 1st.
