A stay-at-home order remains in effect across Minnesota and Governor Tim Walz says he’s troubled that two-thirds of the police calls over the weekend were domestic-violence-related. Walz says he can’t stress enough: “You do not need to stay in your home in a dangerous situation. There are places of sanctuary for you to get out of that.”
One positive law enforcement effect of the stay-at-home order: D-W-I’s were down dramatically, and traffic levels have dropped over 70 percent in rural Minnesota and nearly 80 percent in metro areas.
