Donald Trump Jr. in Minnesota today for private fundraiser in metro area

September 24, 2018 By Bill Werner

Donald Trump Jr. is in Minnesota today to headline a private fundraiser in the metro area for the Republican Party of Minnesota. State G-O-P Chair Jennifer Carnahan says it demonstrates focus and attention on Minnesota’s important races for the U-S Senate and House.  “Since Memorial Day the president has been here once, the vice president has been here twice. Now we’re getting Donald Trump Jr., and we’re hopeful that we’ll get the president back for another visit in the very near future,” Carnahan says.

Minnesota D-F-L Party Chairman Ken Martin says while Donald Trump Jr. comes to town to fire up the Republican base, Democratic candidates are getting the word out about “their vision for a Minnesota where people with pre-existing conditions have health coverage, all children have access to a world-class education and every Minnesotan shares in our state’s prosperity.”
