Duluth police investigating domestic homicide in East Hillside neighborhood

Duluth police are investigating what they believe was a domestic violence homicide Sunday morning at a residence on Chester Creek in the city’s East Hillside neighborhood. They say a child reported their parents were fighting and officers were met at the scene by a 40-year-old man with apparent blood on his clothing. Inside they found a 41-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds. The suspect is in a local hospital and it’s expected he’ll be taken to Saint Louis County Jail pending formal charges.
