Protesters at Enbridge Duluth office last fall
A trial this afternoon (130pm) for several pipeline protesters arrested for trespassing during a November 2nd sit-in at Enbridge’s offices in downtown Duluth. Jesse Peterson contends it was self-defense, saying “I am throughly convinced that myself and others were acting in defense of ourselves and our loved ones to protect them from the dangers of the fossil fuel industry.” Enbridge said in a statement it recognizes people’s right to legally and peacefully express their views, but those conversations must be in the appropriate forum.
