Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves tonight with a game-high 39 points on 12-of-24 shooting, including 5-of-11 from deep and five assists, marking his sixth 35+ point game of the season (49th career). As he finished shooting 50.0% from the field, 45.5% from three and 90.9% from the line, this outing marks his 36th career performance with at least a 40-50-90 shooting split. 35+ points 5+ rebounds.

• Tonight also marks Edwards’ 101st 30+ point game of his career, tying Karl-Anthony Towns for the most such games in Timberwolves history. Edwards is now tied with Jerry West for the 24th on the all-time list for most 30+ point games by a player before the age of 25.

• Edwards finished tonight’s game without any turnovers, becoming the first player in franchise history to make 10+ field goals/5+ threes/10+ free throws without a turnover and just the 20th player in NBA history to do so, the first since Feb. 1, 2024 (Tyrese Maxey: 17 FGM, 10 FTM, seven 3PM, 0 turnovers).

• Edwards has now made exactly five three-pointers in four straight games, a run that began on Nov. 21 in Phoenix. This marks the longest active such streak in the NBA this season and ties the longest such run of his career, which ran from Oct. 22 – Nov. 1, 2024. Edwards has recorded eight games with five or more made threes this season, tied with Stephen Curry and James Harden for the most in the NBA in 2025-26.

• Julius Randle finished the night with 16 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, marking his 11th 15+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the year (195th career). Randle is one of only 10 players in the NBA this season to record 11 or more games with 15+ points/5+ rebounds/5+ assists.

• Donte DiVincenzo added 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three and a season-high and game-high eight assists, marking his third game this season in which he has tallied 15+ points and 5+ assists (20th career). Tonight marked the fifth time this season DiVincenzo has led the Wolves in assists.

• After knocking down four threes in tonight’s win, DiVincenzo has now made a team-leading 58 threes this season, tying him with Detroit’s Duncan Robinson for the ninth most made threes in the NBA this season.

Team Notes
• Following tonight’s 119-115 Timberwolves win, each of the last six games between the Celtics and Timberwolves have been decided by seven or fewer points. That is the second-longest active such streak for any matchup in the NBA (Suns vs. Grizzlies, seven straight such games).

• After falling behind 64-76 at the 10:10 mark of the third quarter, the Wolves outscored the Celtics 55-39 the rest of the way to secure the 119-115 victory, erasing their first double-digit deficit of the season.

• Minnesota shot the ball well from deep in tonight’s win, knocking down a season-high 21 shots from deep (21-of-48). Tonight marks the 35th game in franchise history in which the Wolves made 20+ shots from deep and the 32nd such game during the Chris Finch era (Feb. 22, 2021).

• Led by DiVincenzo’s season-high eight assists, the Timberwolves finished tonight’s game with 31 assists, the sixth time this season they have ended the night with 30+ assists. Minnesota moved to 4-2 when collected 30+ assists. Last season, the Wolves dished out 30 or more assists on 17 occasions, going 13-4 when doing so.
