Not quite the scene in all of Minnesota yet, but it’s coming
With all the wet and warm weather we’ve had, fall colors are showing up a bit later than normal in some parts of Minnesota. Assistant State Climatologist Pete Boulay says, “The places that did see some color so far, those are the places that saw the freezing temperatures so far.” Fall colors in northwest and north-central Minnesota are approaching peak — but the North Shore and the rest of the state aren’t quite that far along. Boulay advises people to be patient. “Fall will happen eventually, and so will winter. We just have to wait and it’ll come,” he says.
