Authorities say a Fargo officer has died after he was shot last night while responding to a domestic disturbance. 33-year-old Officer Jason Moszer is survived by his wife and two children. Police Chief Dave Todd says Officer Moszer “was a guy that came to work with a smile on his face every day. He loved working out on the street with his fellow officers. They loved working with him. He was just an all-around great guy. It’s a terrible loss for our department,” says the chief. After a long standoff, officers entered the home and found the suspect, 49-year-old Marcus Schumacher, dead of a gunshot wound. It’s not known if he killed himself or was shot by an officer.
