The first “saltie”, or ocean-going vessel, of the shipping season is expected to arrive in the Port of Duluth-Superior this weekend. The Seaway Port Authority says the “Lake Ontario” will likely anchor overnight off the Duluth Ship Canal and then tomorrow sail into port beneath the Aerial Lift Bridge.
