The criminal complaint against five people arrested in a drug and weapons bust south of Willmar this week alleges a huge arsenal of weapons including grenade launchers and sub-machine guns, a hidden bunker and a possible plot to bomb the homes of a judge, prosecutor and attorney. 46-year-old Chad Monson, owner of an excavating company in Willmar, is among those arraigned Thursday morning in Kandiyohi County District Court. Also charged are a 45-year-old man from Lake Lillian, a 41-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman who were living in a converted bus on Monson’s property, and a 37-year-old woman from Litchfield. Next court appearances for the defendants are later this month and in March.
