MSP airport is reporting a couple dozen flight cancellations so far, which officials says could increase as a winter storm batters the northeast. Spokesman Patrick Hogan says, “Anybody who’s gonna be flying over the next couple of days to that part of the country should check with their airline to make sure that their flight hasn’t been impacted, before they come to the airport.”
All flights have been temporarily suspended at New York’s J-F-K and LaGuardia airports and nearly three-quarters of flights at Newark have been canceled. Hogan says, “We could see a lot of changes throughout today [Thurs] and even into tomorrow, based on how quickly the storm leaves and how much snow it dumps while it’s there.”
