Food service is first focus as Walz kicks off campaign to vaccine workers in critical industries

Workers in the food service industry are the first focus as Governor Tim Walz kicks off a statewide campaign to get employees in critical industries vaccinated against COVID-19. The governor says food service workers have been profoundly impacted by the pandemic and “making vaccines accessible to frontline workers in this industry will help us return to the things we love, including joining our friends and families at our favorite restaurants, bars, and breweries.” Workers can go on-line to the state’s COVID-19 Vaccine Connector, use the Vaccine Finder Map to locate the closest provider, or contact their primary health care provider or a local pharmacy.
