Former long-time state Agriculture Commissioner Dave Frederickson is campaigning in northern Iowa for Amy Klobuchar, with under a week to precinct caucuses. A New York Times poll put Klobuchar’s support in the Hawkeye State at 8 percent while an Emerson poll shows her at 13 percent. Frederickson says, “I think there’s a strong possibility… she can come in third. She could come in fourth, but whatever [happens], she still continues to make a strong case here in Iowa.”
The New York Times poll shows Bernie Sanders grabbing the lead in Iowa with 25 percent, followed by Pete Buttigieg (BOOT-edge-edge), Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar who’s in fifth place.
