A judge in a bench trial has found a former Minneapolis police officer guilty on several counts of criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors say 60-year-old David Campbell sexually assaulted his son’s 16-year-old girlfriend, including while he was on duty and she was in the squad car. According to the criminal complaint, Campbell told the victim if she reported what was happening, he would have to shoot her in the head. Sentencing is December 3rd and the prosecution and defense will both argue for a prison term between three and five years.
