Former Senator Norm Coleman says he will have surgery later this month to remove part of his lungs after cancer re-emerged. Coleman began battling throat and neck cancer in 2015, which by last summer had spread to his lungs. Coleman said chemotherapy eliminated the tumor — but wrote in a recent Facebook post that “cancer is unrelenting” and that he’s “not intending to give any quarter in this war against the beast.”
