Former State Auditor, Republican Pat Anderson is jumping back into the political ring, running for Minnesota House in District 38-B in the Dellwood area. The current occupant of that seat, state Representative Matt Dean, is running for governor. Anderson was elected state auditor in 2002. She lost a re-election bid to the current state auditor, Democrat Rebecca Otto, in 2006 and also lost in a rematch in 2010. Anderson says she’s excited about the opportunity to put her executive experience in both business and government to work in the Minnesota House.
