Senator Al Franken
Senator Al Franken says people “need to take a breath” after the police shootings in Baton Rouge. Franken says people can have disagreements, but attacking police is “attacking the entire fabric of our nation.” He says, “This can’t be allowed to happen, and at the same time we have a very real problem of this targeting of, stopping of black men.” Franken says the man who killed three officers in Baton Rouge is a “sick individual” and we’ve seen “way too much of this” in recent weeks.
