U-S Senator Al Franken made a “thank you” stop for supporters in Minneapolis Thursday evening.
In his speech, Franken reflected on his eight-and-a-half years of service in the U-S Senate:
Franken is set to resign on January 2nd after facing several allegations of harassment. Franken steps down even as a recent Public Policy Polling survey shows half of Minnesotans don’t think he should resign. And the poll suggests Franken currently sits at an approval rating of 53-percent.
