Minnesota students having trouble repaying their student loans can now get free counseling through a state-subsidized program. Higher Education Commissioner Larry Pogemiller says if you’re out of work or your hours have been cut back, they may be able to extend your payments, or you could qualify for a federal loan forgiveness program, depending on your circumstance.
