The Minnesota Frost has announced it will host its annual Pride Celebration, presented by e.l.f. on Saturday, Apr. 11 at 12:00 p.m. CT when the New York Sirens visit Grand Casino Arena. The celebratory afternoon is a part of the PWHL’s Unity Game series, which recognizes and supports diverse cultures and communities while promoting a welcoming and inclusive PWHL game experience for all.
The Frost’s Pride Celebration programming will include:
• Rainbow Wardrobe Makeup & Personal Care Item Drive: In partnership with Twin Cities Pride, the Frost will host a makeup and personal care item drive ahead of the game in support of the Rainbow Wardrobe initiative. The Rainbow Wardrobe provides affirming clothing, accessories, and personal care items to LGBTQ+ individuals, supporting self-expression, confidence, and access to essential resources. Fans attending the game are encouraged to donate new, unused makeup and personal care items.
• Ceremonial Puck Drop with MN Senator Quade: Minnesota State Senator Erin Maye Quade will take part in the ceremonial puck drop, recognizing her leadership and advocacy within the community.
• Anthem Performance by Lisa DiGuiseppi (they/them): DiGuiseppi’s performance brings a meaningful and inclusive presence to the opening moments of the game.
• Concourse Activations: Various community organizations will host tables on the concourse, providing fans with opportunities to learn more about their work, access resources, and engage directly with leaders and representatives from Minnesota’s LGBTQ+ community:

o Gender Justice

o Twin Cities Pride / Hockey’s Beauty Club
• GLASS Fanboni experience: GLASS Volleyball will participate in the in-game Fanboni experience, highlighting their role in supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion and advocacy while fostering spaces that provide positive social activities for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities and their allies.
• Twin Cities Queer Country Dancers: TC Queer Country Dancers will perform during intermission, bringing an engaging and community-centered performance to the Pride Unity Game. The group creates inclusive dance spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies, using dance as a way to foster connection, expression, and community.
• Pride Merchandise: Fans will have the opportunity to purchase limited-edition Pride apparel designed by Peau De Loup (PDL), a queer women-owned Canadian apparel brand. The 2026 PWHL Pride Unity Collection will be available exclusively at the Hockey Lodge in Grand Casino Arena.
Various community organizations will be in attendance as part of the Frost Pride Unity Game, representing a wide range of LGBTQ+ advocacy, sport, and community leadership across Minnesota:
• The Trevor Project is a leading nonprofit organization focused on suicide prevention and crisis intervention for LGBTQ+ young people. Through 24/7 crisis services, including phone, text, and chat support, as well as advocacy, research, and education, the organization works to create safer, more supportive environments for LGBTQ+ youth.
• The Twin Cities Queer Hockey Association is an inclusive hockey community dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ players and allies of all skill levels. Through organized leagues, skill development opportunities, and community events, the association promotes access, visibility, and belonging within the sport.
• Team Trans is an international organization that provides transgender and non-binary athletes with opportunities to participate in hockey in affirming and inclusive environments. Through tournaments, exhibitions, and community-building initiatives, Team Trans works to increase visibility, representation, and access for trans athletes.
• Twin Cities Pride is a community-based organization that produces one of the largest Pride festivals in the country while supporting year-round programming, advocacy, and community initiatives. Their work extends beyond celebration, focusing on building community, increasing visibility, and supporting LGBTQ+ individuals through a variety of initiatives, including the Rainbow Wardrobe.
• Reclaim is a mental health organization dedicated to supporting queer and trans youth through accessible, affirming care. The organization works to remove barriers to mental health services by offering therapy, resources, and community support tailored specifically to LGBTQ+ young people and their families.
• Queerspace Collective is a community-driven organization focused on creating inclusive and affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals through programming, events, and creative initiatives. The collective centers connection, self-expression, and community-building, offering opportunities for individuals to engage, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships within queer communities.
• Gender Justice is a nonprofit legal and policy advocacy organization working to advance gender equity through the law. Through litigation, public policy, and education, the organization addresses issues including LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive freedom, and workplace equity.
• Transforming Families provides education, resources, and support for families with transgender and gender-expansive children. Their work plays a critical role in ensuring that young people are supported both at home and within their broader communities.
• TIGERRS (Transgender, Intersex, Gender Expansive Revolutionary Resources & Services) is a Minnesota-based organization dedicated to supporting transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive individuals. TIGERRS works to create safer, more inclusive environments while addressing the needs of gender-expansive communities across the region.
• Pride at Work is a nonprofit organization that mobilizes LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to advocate for workplace equality and labor rights. Through partnerships with labor unions and community groups, the organization works to build inclusive workplaces and strengthen connections between the labor and LGBTQ+ movements.
• MPLS Mayhem Rugby is an inclusive rugby club based in Minneapolis that promotes diversity, teamwork, and community through sport. As a member of the International Gay Rugby network, the club provides opportunities for LGBTQ+ athletes and allies to compete in a welcoming and supportive environment.
• The Minnesota Ice Swim Club is a community-focused organization that brings people together through cold-water swimming and outdoor recreation. Rooted in inclusivity and connection, the club creates welcoming spaces for individuals of all backgrounds to participate, emphasizing wellness, resilience, and community-building through shared experience.
• Hockey’s Beauty Club is a community platform dedicated to celebrating diversity, culture, and identity within hockey. Through storytelling, events, and creative collaborations, the organization works to expand representation and challenge traditional norms within the sport, creating space for more inclusive narratives across hockey culture.
• GLASS (Gay and Lesbian Amateur Sports Society) Volleyball is an inclusive sports organization that provides opportunities for LGBTQ+ athletes and allies to connect and compete through volleyball. Through recreational and competitive programming, GLASS fosters a strong sense of community, participation, and belonging both on and off the court.
• OutFront Minnesota is a leading LGBTQ+ advocacy organization dedicated to working across Minnesota to address systemic barriers, protect LGBTQ+ rights, and build a more inclusive future through legislative advocacy, training, and community-based initiatives.
