Flags are flying at half-staff over state and federal buildings today as Minnesotans bid final farewell to North Memorial pilot Timothy McDonald, killed in a medical helicopter crash June 28th in Brainerd. McDonald, who was 44, leaves behind a wife, four children and his parents. Funeral services are this morning (11am) in Lakeville. Long-time nurse and grandmother Deb Schott from Lester Prairie also died in the crash and another crew member was injured. There were no patients on board when the helicopter went down in foggy weather.
