(Aitkin, MN) — Funeral services are under way for fallen Aitkin County Sheriff’s Deputy Steven Sandberg. Several hundred law enforcement officers from all over the region are paying their final respects. Deputy Sandberg was gunned down while guarding a patient at St. Cloud Hospital. He leaves behind a wife and daughter.
