(Minneapolis, MN) — Dawson Garcia hit a mid court three pointer at the buzzer as the Gophers stunned 20th ranked Michigan 84-81. Michigan’s Danny Wolf made a lay up to tie the game at 81-81 with :07 seconds left in overtime but that was followed by Garcia’s shot, from the logo at center court, who hit his three pointer from 45 feet out. That moves stops a five game losing streak and moves Minnesota to 9-9 on the season. It also goes down as their first win in the Big Ten as they improve to 1-6 in the Conference. The Gophers are off until next week when they head to Iowa to face the Hawkeyes on Tuesday night at 8 P-M.
