Gas prices are up in Minnesota compared to just a couple weeks ago.
Triple A Minnesota’s Gail Weinholzer says “the average across the state of Minnesota is $2.21, but keep in mind it’s also significantly less than we were paying a year ago on this date, which was $2.65.”
Weinholzer says gas prices typically go down near summer’s end when demand for gas is lower, but maintenance issues and some refinery outages in the U-S are driving prices up this year.
