MINNEAPOLIS- The Gopher baseball team is set to wrap up the mid-week portion of the 2025 with games versus NDSU and St. Thomas. The ‘U’ will host NDSU at Siebert Field on Tuesday before traveling to St. Paul to take on the Tommies on Wednesday.

Last Time Out
• Minnesota lost the series to USC 3-0 after falling 16-6 on Friday, 6-1 Saturday, and 3-2 Sunday.

Scouting The Bison
• The Bison are 14-26 overall and are led by head coach Tyler Oakes, a Gopher baseball alumni.
• The Bison offense is led by sophomore Jake Schaffner who is slashing .367/.479/.432.

Scouting The Tommies
• The Tommies are 21-17 overall and are led by head coach Chris Olean.
• The Tommie offense is led by graduate student Max Moris who is slashing .347/.497/.437.

Opponent Series History
• The Gophers have faced both teams already this season. Minnesota and NDSU squared off back on April 15th where the Gophers won 9-2. The Gophers and the Tommies have squared off twice this season, first on March 19th where the Gophers won 8-2 and then again on April 9th when the Gophers won 12-2 in seven innings.

What’s on Deck
• Minnesota will head to Nebraska for a Big Ten series with the Cornhuskers May 2-4.
