(Undated) — The 2021 Golden Gopher baseball schedule was released yesterday and it includes 44-games, all against Big Ten competition. The season will kick off with eight games being played at U-S Bank Stadium, starting with a March 5th contest against Indiana. There will be multiple Gopher games at the facility over the next several weekends, culminating with a four-game series against Illinois from March 12-14. Games begin on campus across the Big Ten on March 19th, as Minnesota visits Northwestern for that weekend. The home opener for the Gophers at Siebert Field is slated for April 2nd against Michigan State. The regular season concludes with games against Penn State and Purdue in West Lafayette on May 28-30. Gopher head coach John Anderson begins his 40th season as head coach of the program and has won more games than any baseball coach in Big Ten history with 1,325 victories.
